I started my travel on.............
I arrived here on 26th December, 2006 with lots of dreams and hopes about future. As the first visit to a new place is always exciting, I was very excited to see the new place and taste the new culture. My flight was Air India travelling from Hyderabad to Mumabai to Chicago. From Chicago, I took United Airlines flight to reach Lincoln, NE. It was a completely new experience to check-in the bagagge, getting boarding passes etc. It was very fun to see me tarvelling in air. I felt that I achieved a major target when compared to all my school and college friends. I felt very great to achieve this as there is no one from my village travelled to USA before me. I am very much thankful to the Almighty god for giving this opportunity to me to improve my life. As it was always expensive to go to USA, nobody (including my father) encouraged me to try and even many discouraged. But I achieved this. I feel great.
I reached Lincoln at night 9 P.M. By that time, representatives from India students Association came to receive us. There were 2 more students flying from India to UNL on the same day. But I dont know them. Unfortunately I lost one of my bags and gave a complaint in the airport about that. Then I left to the university and stayed with them for few days before moving to the new apartment with new apartments and lots of derams.
